Amplion´s retail fund ARIF I KY acquired 28 M€ retail portfolio from Varma

Amplion Asset Management Oy’s retail property focused fund ARIF I Ky has acquired a Finnish retail portfolio of 8 properties from Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company. The transaction value was close to 28 M€.

The main assets in the portfolio are K-Supermarkets in Iisalmi and Lahti, Budget Sport / Koneboxi in Espoo and S-Markets in Turku, Espoo and Kangasala. The main tenants with long term lease agreements are Kesko Group and S- Group.

This transaction also strengthens the portfolio’s tenant mix.  “The fund is looking for new investments in the retail sector and has remaining investment capacity of 20-30 M€” says Södervall.

 Nordea Bank Plc. and Sampo Bank Plc. acted within the transaction as the arrangers of the loan facilities.
